Lets Get Your Race Licence
Driving Specs will guide step by step what you need to do to get your licence and will coordinate a suitable course for you at the excellent Anglesey race circuit. Do not hesitate to contact us for further information.
The first step will be to obtain Motorsport UK 'Go Racing' starter pack’ which will include:
- Licence application form
- Go Racing video
- Motorsport UK yearbook
- Starting Motorsport handbook
- Association of Racing Drivers Schools leaflet
This can be obtained direct from Motorsport UK or from the Stirling Speed Shop.
The form must be completed, including picture, medical, and opticians report where required before attending the course.
Non junior drivers must not be banned from driving on the road.

*The Junior ARDS course is for 14 to 16 year olds. Below is the criteria for applicants:
1. The minimum age for a driver to take the course and hold a Race Licence is 14 years old 2. Application must be supported by or received from a Junior Race Championship organizing club.
Their licence will then be issued in the name of the driver but held by the organizing club of their championship (until they are 16 years old then they will hold a full licence)
